Dear EPSA members,
please find attached the call for applications to the international
conference: "V4. Past. Preset. Future" organized by the Faculty of
Political Science and International Studies University of Warsaw in
partnership with:
- Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics in
Bratislava,
- Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of International Studies and
Institute of Political Studies, Charles University in Prague,
- Department of International Relations, Institute for International,
Political and Regional
Studies, Corvinus University of Budapest
- Department of Political Science and International Relations, University
of Pecs.
*The conference will take place on 16-17th December 2021, at the University
of Warsaw. *
Our two-day conference will include: opening lecture, plenary sessions and
panel sessions. The opening lecture will be given by Ms. Marianna
Neupauerová, Deputy Executive Director from Visegrad Fund who will present
the practical dimension of regional cooperation. She is a Slovak diplomat
who started professional career with the Slovak Commission for UNESCO and
continued by focusing on human rights issues and later development
cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak
Republic.
The second speaker will be Ivan Krastev, political scientist and
philosopher, the Chair of the Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia and a
Permanent Fellow at the IWM Institute of Human Sciences in Vienna. He is
also a founding Board Member of ECFR and the Member of the Board of
Trustees of the International Crisis Group.
Submission of individual papers and panels on national, regional and
international aspects of the analysis of the role of the Visegrad Group are
all invited. Please see the below list of suggested topics of interest or
offer one from beyond 2 main frameworks:
